1. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SALES / SENIOR SALES MANAGER (TRAVEL TRADE)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct sales team in meeting business objectives of the hotel.
  • Budget for monthly sales revenue and expand sales revenues by growing current accounts and developing new businesses.
  • Ensure overall effectiveness in implementation of the sales and marketing strategies.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience in hospitality industry preferred.
  • Resourceful and good leadership in leading the corporate team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Self-moltivated and proactive, with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
  • Knowledge on leisure contacts is essential.
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Good team player.
  • Willing to work on alternate Saturday (half-day).

2. CONCIERGE / BELL HOP

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling of guests' luggages.
  • Respond to guests' requests and needs.

 

Requirements

  • Good customer service.
  • Secondary education.
  • At least one year experience in the same capacity.
  • Team player with strong commitment to delivering a high level of service.

3.  HOUSEKEEPING STEWARD/STEWARDESS

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean rooms, bathrooms and toilets.
  • Replenish guests' amenities in the rooms.

4. F&B SERVER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  • Attend to guests' enquiries and make recommendations.

 

Requirements

  • Ensures cleanliness and general apprearance of the cafe.
  • Observe safety and hygiene practices as laid out by statutory boards.

5. BARTENDER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide beverage requested by customers according to standard recipe in line with established service policy and procedures of the hotel's lounge and terrace.

Requirements

  • Bar operations including ordering, preparation and inventory.
  • Mixing cocktails, house specialties and preparation of beverages including coffee, etc.
  • Good knowlege of wine, beer and cocktail mixes.
  • Develop rapport with return guests; remembering their names, drinks, etc.
  • Follow POS cashiering systems and procedures.
  • Restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.

6. LOUNGE HOSTESS

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide food and berverage services to guests in line with established service policy and procedures of the hotel's lounge and terrace.

 

Requirements

  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the Piano Lounge and Terrace and has to assist in the clean presentation of the outlet as a whole.
  • Ensures that mis-en-place or side station is all set up with bar supplies, bar snacks, cutleries, chinaware and beverage list.
  • Responsible to know the prices of the various drinks and every item on the menu.
  • Presents menus and able to explain all menu items.
  • Must know the procedures and function of the POS machine and how to input all relevant information.
  • Takes food and beverage orders and then serves them.
  • Antcipates guests'needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all guests however busy at any time of the day. Promotes positive guest relations at all times.
  • Serves and clears food and beverage items in an unobstructive and professional manner.
  • Presents bill to diners and collect money (cash or credit card) and perform cashiering duties. Return change or credit card to the diners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Management.

7. HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of all assigned areas and supervision of housekeeping steward/stewardess.

  • To schedule, assign, supervise and assist in all housekeeping operationson the floors and any other areas under Housekeeping Department.
  • Conducts room checks on the proper execution of room clearing procedures.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are forward to Housekeeping Department immediately.
  • Inspects vacant and occupied room to ensure the best condition is maintained.
  • Report maintenance defects to the Engineering Department.
  • Ensure work orders and request is being carried out promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct check on public area.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

8. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CUM GENERAL CASHIER

Duties and Responsibilities

To provide financial, clerical and administrative services in the Finance Department to ensure efficient, timely and accurate daily banking, ensuring the safekeeping and timely dispatch to the bank.

  • Maintains records by sorting documents and attachments for debtors accounts and making scanned copy or photocopy.
  • Mail tax invoices to travel agents and corporate clients.
  • To ensure daily cash collection tally with daily remittance control sheet.
  • To prepare bank deposits, for daily cash count ensuring that it tallies with receipts and daily banking, accountable for the accurate tally of all receipts from Front Office and all F&B outlets and reports any discrepancies found.
  • To assist in photocopying of Accounts Payable Vouchers and Invoices for submission to internal auditor.
  • To disburse petty cash payments ensuring the correct payout and correctness of petty cash vouchers. Summerise petty cash disbursement in a given time and request replenishment of petty cash fund.
  • To perform any other duties assigned, including cross training.

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, general bookkeeping procedures.
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
  • Minimum of 1 year accounts receivable and general cashier experience.
  • Attention to details and accuracy.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Team member.
  • Sense of urgency.
